NOTE: for HB500, before download the firmware, pls check your player's version.
first, find "ABOUT" in "SETTING" , then press play button to find the version no.
firmware 802.551.515 is for both 802.551.513 and 802.551.515

If you are having problems with the MP317, MP512, MP1000,MP3000,KP512,KP1000 and KP3000,please use upgrade firmware to solve your trouble. Please make sure that the Hold Key is unlocked before plugging the player into the PC USB port for Firmware Upgrade.

Steps of upgrading Firmware:

Please select the corresponding firmware upgrade on the website for your player and save it on the desktop first. (click right button on the mouse to save it).

1. Double click the icon with left button on the mouse to install the file on the desktop.

2. Find Setup.exe/Stupdaterapp.exe(MP3000) in file and double click it with left button on the mouse to start installation (just follow the steps to finish the installation).

3. Take out the battery and press the PLAY button, remember don't let it go. Connect the player to the computer through the USB port.

4. Go to Start (bottom left corner on desktop)-Program-Digital MP3 Player\Digital MP3 Player Firmware Download.

5. Choose Format box--Start format (now you can let the PLAY button go)-Finish.
